As the key motivation behind all of our services, Live More helps our residents live life at their optimal level across eight key areas of wellness: intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, nutritional, physical, environmental and vocational.
The path to achieving life's abundance is one that is distinctively individual and is unique to an individual's past and present abilities and circumstances. Our goal with Live More, is that life at the Hearth will be more than a destination; it will be a journey that continually changes according to each resident's needs, desires, capabilities and goals.
The most beneficial thing one can do as they age is to continue engaging in a variety of social activities that are purposeful and support quality of life.
Think More is Hearth's version of cognitive brain exercise classes meeting the needs of residents who choose to be involved in a stimulating class setting with lessons and materials residents are interested in. The Think More facilitator provides an opportunity to practice intellectual fitness in a small group setting. In the case of brain fitness, "Use it or Lose it" applies to all the different functional areas of our brain. Think More has increased hope, confidence, and socialization for participants.
