Supervisor of Assisted Living Services Agency (SALSA) (CT)
Our (SALSA) is responsible for providing leadership and management to the nursing department. The Director is responsible for planning, organizing and leading overall operations of nursing services in accordance with federal, state and local standards and Hearth Management policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.
Position Requirements:
- Maintains a current Connecticut state license as an RN
- Graduate of approved college / school of nursing
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in a nurse management position including experience with hiring staff, coaching, performance management daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling
- At least one (1) year of homecare experience within the last 10 years
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices & techniques
- Demonstration of knowledge in federal and state regulations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Possess competency in organizational, time management skills and demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
