Maynard Fahs

Chief Executive Officer

Binghamton, NY – Maynard is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Hearth Management and Fahs Construction Group. Maynard is responsible for the current operations of the company in addition to creating our company vision and our future growth.

Dan Suits

Chief Operating Officer

Syracuse, NY – Dan Suits has been the Chief Operating Officer of Hearth Management since 1997, and Vice President of Fahs Construction Group since 1995. Dan’s responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the communities and overseeing new project development.

Mark Burritt

Chief Financial Officer

Binghamton, NY – Mark has been the Chief Financial Officer of Hearth Management and Fahs Construction Group since 1998 and 1990, respectively. Mark is responsible for project finance, corporate accounting, the creation and monitoring of all financial controls, property and corporate budgeting and the internal review of all legal documents.

Norm Morrow

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Spring Hill, TN and Syracuse, NY – Norm is Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hearth Management. He is responsible for building and maintaining occupancy for the Hearth communities, overseeing all marketing & sales personnel with emphasis on training and productivity.

Steve Killion

Vice President of Operations

Syracuse, NY – Steve is the Vice President of Operations for Hearth Management. He joined Hearth Management in 2002 and is responsible for day-to-day corporate operations and human relations matters among all of the Hearth communities.

Carl Guy

Vice President of Fahs Construction

Binghamton, NY – Carl has been a Vice President of Fahs Construction for 12 years. He directs the construction of all new projects.

Janet Haynes

Director of Clinical Services

Vestal, NY – Janet has been with Hearth Management since 1996. Janet’s primary role as Director of Clinical Services is overseeing our Medical Departments for regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities to provide a high standard of care to our residents.

Katie Freeland

Vice President of Community Operations

Syracuse, NY – Katie joined Hearth Management in 2007. Katie has been in the Healthcare field for over 14 years and is currently licensed in Indiana as a Health Facility Administrator. Katie works closely with Steve Killion and Dan Suits in all aspects of operations. She is primarily responsible for supporting the Executive Directors in the operations among all of the Hearth communities.

Mary Pat Suits

Live More Coordinator

Syracuse, NY: Mary Pat Suits serves as the LIVE MORE Coordinator for Hearth Management. Mary Pat was an integral part of developing LIVE MORE, Think More, and has introduced the LIVE MORE lifestyle at each Hearth community.

Mary Pat acts as a Hearth Consultant using her bachelor’s degree in biology, a master’s degree in religious education and a master’s degree in science education.

Mary Pat played an integral part in the creation and implementation of American College of Sports Medicine trainer developed exercise modules delivered by each Hearth activities staff and Wellness Aides.

Wendy Davis

Think More Coordinator

Wendy Davis serves as the THINK MORE Coordinator for Hearth Management. Wendy played a vital role in developing THINK MORE and bringing the concept of lifelong learning to each Hearth community.

Wendy has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in science education. With an extensive background in science and learning theory Wendy was able to draw upon her experience and education to facilitate development and implementation of THINK MORE cognitive brain classes in each Hearth community.

Wendy continues to supervise and consult with Hearth activity directors regarding the implementation and monitoring of THINK MORE in each of the Hearth’s activities programs.
